Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!! We here at the St. Lawrence Arts Center are very excited about the coming year- and decade!- because we’ve undergone a refreshing overhaul in the last few months and are ready to step out and unveil the new and improved organization.

First, our new website is live! This site has more content, better functionality, and is overall easier to use and better looking than our old one. It most importantly has a really cool scheduling and ticketing format and you can buy tickets online, read our blog (which I suppose is somewhat obvious at this point), and subscribe to get alerts about schedule updates.

Along with that, we’ve had a significant technology upgrade, including a computer for the box office to keep track of attendance, admission, etc, new computers for all three work stations, and a new databasing program for our mailing lists and donor records.

Also, our furnace bit the dust at a somewhat advantageous time, and we were able to completely replace it with a higher-quality, more efficient one. This will help cut our operating costs a great deal, especially during theater season (our word for winter).

Each of us here are looking forward to a great year of met deadlines, seized opportunities, fun events and productive fundraisers, and we hope to see each of you soon!
